1. Slick up strategically:
Your heels do not need only filing and rubbing. It needs moisturizing and exfoliation also. Exfoliate at least once a week. As well as moisturizing is concerned it needs daily if you have badly cracked heels. The daily application of Vaseline work wonder. In the night when you go to your bed just apply heel cream or Vaseline on cracked heels. In the morning you will find good result. If you make a routine then you will not see your heels cracked even in winter season.
Foot creams are available in the market but choose a formula with lactic acid, uric acid and salicylic acid. In the day massage the cream onto your foot and in the night moisturize the heels. In some days these efforts will eat away the outer thickened areas and you will feel soft and smooth heels.
2. Put a sock on it:
If you are worried that the cream you apply on your heels will be removed then you can put on socks on it. This will keep the cream and moisturizer on your heels. The socks should be chosen lined up with silicone. Therapy socks and softening socks are also available in the market.
